A Gentle Return to the Heart
When Release Becomes Possible, and Love Begins to Flow Again
Beloved,
I wanna talk a little about letting go.
Maybe something inside you is wrapping up. It might just feel like a gentle nudge, instead of a big explosive ending. Maybe its more like you waking up one morning and realizing you ain’t carrying the same weight anymore.
Whatever that situation was, it did what it needed to do. It tested you. It showed you something about yourself, and now it is easing off. Whatever it was, you’re still here. You’re heart still beats, still loves, still desires. That means that instead of letting the situation hardening you, you allowed it to let you grow.
Where have you already moved on, even if you have not said it out loud yet? Where are you still open because you truly want to be there?
Be real about it, but don’t try to force clarity if it ain’t ready. Let your feelings calm down enough so you can hear what is actually true. Be gentle with yourself and don’t overthink. If something is over, bless it and let it go free and clear. If something is still alive, hold it with intention. If you move slowly and honestly, you will know exactly what belongs in your hands and what does not.
With love at the river’s edge,
Papa Eli
